RESPONSIBILITIES:

 The Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting in the operations of events at the Hall County Conference Center. Coordinates and/or supervises the set up and break down of dining and meeting rooms for all functions. Coordinates catering and food operations at the Conference Center when needed.  Provides Audio/Visual (A/V) assistance as required.  Works closely with Event Office and Operations to prepare for each event.

MAJOR DUTIES:

    • Set up and confirm operation for events scheduled at the Conference Center
    • Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights and weekends based on the event schedule;
    • Assists in operations of events at the Conference Center
    • Assists with catering and food operations at the Conference Center
    • Provides Audio/Visual (A/V) support as required
    • Other work-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

       

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

       A High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of work-related experience.
