Adjunct Interpersonal Skills Instructor
Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified
applicants for their Adjunct Interpersonal Skills Instructor position, in
the Academic and Student Affairs Division. This position is located at ATC’s
(Main) Campus, which is just south of (Downtown Atlanta / Hartsfield-Jackson Airport).
Under general supervision, the instructor will demonstrate the use of appropriate teaching techniques; demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures, including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping requirements. The instructor will also demonstrate the effective use of oral and written communication skills and knowledge of current procedures; follows approved curriculum standards and course syllabi; advises and counsels students and maintains appropriate advisement records on each students; maintains classrooms in accordance with approved classroom plans; attends meetings as required; observes and enforces the institution’s policies and regulations. The instructor must maintain qualifications for employment as described by the Technical College System of Georgia Policy Manual and accreditation standards; follow rules and regulations as described by the Technical College System of Georgia Policy Manual and other policies and procedures established by the institution.
Minimum qualifications
A
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Organizational
Development, Human Resources, or Sociology from a regionally accredited
institution. Strong written and verbal
communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
are required. Two years of teaching experience in an academic setting are
required. The instructor must have excellent technological skills and must
demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
Master’s Degree in Psychology,
Organizational Leadership, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or
Sociology from a regionally accredited institution. Strong written and verbal
communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
are required. Two years of teaching experience in an academic setting are
required. The instructor must have excellent technological skills and must
demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
