Assistant Public Defender - Northeastern Judicial Circuit

State Level Position

Location: Northeastern Judicial Circuit

Salary:  Commensurate with experience

Job Description and Requirements:

Assistant Public Defender I

The Northeastern Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office is accepting applications for an Assistant Public Defender I. The position will be open until filled. The level will be based on years of experience. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position. Applicants must be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. Superior organizational skills and a strong commitment to indigent defense are also required. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, State of Georgia Sensitive Position Employment Application, and three (3) references to Circuit Public Defender H. Bradford Morris at bmorris@hallcounty.org

 
Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university AND license to practice law in the State of Georgia OR eligibility to sit for the next Georgia Bar examination OR reciprocity (must obtain Law License). Note: Some positions may not allow the eligibility clause.
