If you are seeking an opportunity to provide zealous and client-centered advocacy, in a collaborative environment, the Rome Judicial Circuit – Office of the Public Defender is seeking you as an Assistant Public Defender.
The Office of the Public Defender is dedicated to protecting and defending the rights and dignity of our clients through zealous, compassionate, and high-quality legal advocacy. As an Assistant Public Defender, you will be responsible for representing indigent clients in all phases of criminal proceedings, including arraignment, pretrial hearings, trial preparations, plea negotiations, trial, and sentencing.This position will give you extensive courtroom and trial experience in the Superior and/or Juvenile Courts of Floyd County, Georgia.
Located “where the rivers meet and the mountains begin,” the city of Rome provides an ideal place to work and live.
