Administrative Office - Billing Department
Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing. Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame. Checking each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount, researching and appealing denied claims.

NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:

Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record 
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.

High school diploma or GED AND Two years of experience supervising staff responsible for billing, budget or accounting activities OR Three years of experience performing billing functions.
