Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Environmental Services Training & Quality Manager. This position will work the 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shift.

Georgia Regional Hospital – Savannah (GRHS) operates 180 licensed, accredited inpatient beds for two major program areas: 1) adult mental health, 2) adult forensic services.

GRHS offers inpatient adult mental health services, inpatient habilitation services and forensic program services to a catchment area of approximately 45 Georgia counties.

Job Description:

In collaboration with the Environmental Services Director, this position coordinates training and retraining of all department staff. Conducts inspections of the facility to determine cleanliness. Maintains formal documentation of findings in order to measure technician performances and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

• Performs quality inspections throughout the facility to assist department manager in coordinating cleaning projects.
• Coordinates quality improvement projects with department manager.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction interviews
• Trains newly hired staff, including promoting safety, and makes every effort to create and maintain a safe and healthful environment.
• Observes job performance of Environmental Services staff
• Attends and actively participates in required meetings, classes, and in-services.
• Demonstrates proficiency with technology equipment and software
• Answers cleaning and stocking requests from units

One year of experience as a lead worker in related area of assignment OR One year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 2 (FES041) or position equivalent.
