JOB SUMMARY: The Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking a (Part-Time) candidate with a passion for food services and motivation for advancement to fill a food service worker position.
 
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES: Under close supervision, prepares and cooks or assists in the cooking of food using specialized equipment. Serves and distributes food. Cleans kitchen, kitchen equipment and dining areas.
 
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES: This is a twenty-nine (29) hour per week position and is not eligible for benefits. The position serves as a (Part-Time) Food Service Worker at the Macon RYDC working in the facility.  
 
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The selected candidate must meet the advertised minimum qualifications to include State Entry Qualifications as well as Agency Specific Qualifications.
 
STATE ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED OR Six months of experience in the area of assignment.
 Note: The selected candidate for this position is subjected to an employment, criminal history, references, social media, fingerprinting, motor vehicle background check and, if applicable, must take and pass a pre-employment drug test
