Job Description:


The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will provide group and individual therapy to Adults w/ SA & MH diagnoses @ Norcross Outpatient Center. Applicant must be skilled in diagnosing w/ DSM-5 and treatment planning while possessing knowledge & skill of using various therapeutic, short term, evidenced-based interventions to treat addiction and mental health diagnosis. 

Provides assessment, treatment and discharge planning. Applicant must maintain clinical documentation in a manner that satisfies agency, insurers', CARF and other required standards for justification of treatment and financial reimbursement. Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships with community service providers.

Provides support to the provision of mental health services within the office, including but not limited to conducting intakes, crisis interventions & clinical triage services to facilitate necessary services.  Executes the legal forms required for involuntary commitment.

Demonstrates positive strengths-based attitude of teamwork and shared leadership. Completes documentation within 24 hrs. Meets billable monthly targets. 


Job Requirements:

-         Must be able to lift 20 pounds

-         Must have valid Georgia driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy

-         Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)

- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens
