Come grow with us and be part of the CHANGE at our Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Decatur, Georgia. We serve adolescents between the ages of 14-17. We are changing to become a trauma-care organization with a focus on person-centered care and recovery. The responsibility includes supervising a team of nurses and paraprofessional staff on the day shift to ensure that client care is provided per CSU standards and policies.

 

Provides 1:1 counseling and supervision to staff on a monthly basis. Ensures that quality care is provided to the client. Completes nursing assessments, provides medication education, provides discharge instructions, provides prescribed nursing care, administer medications. Communicate critical information to MD and nurse supervisor in timely manner. Assists with orienting new staff to shift. Attends training, nurse’s meetings and other staff meetings as assigned. Provide supportive counseling and education to client as indicated. Assists with scheduling and maintaining adequate unit coverage.


Hours:

Child and Adolescent Unit:

7:00 a.m - 3:30 p.m


Full licensure as RN in the State of Georgia.
Must pass criminal record background fingerprint check including an FBI Criminal Records History Check and a pre-employment drug screen.
Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license and MVR.


Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND One year of professional nursing experience.
