Henry County - Supported Employment
Serve as a supportive employment specialist to individuals receiving services. Act as an interpreter to assist in family education to help members better understand and relate to individuals living with a mental illness. Assist individuals being served by the combat stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness. Provide ongoing assessment, carries out supportive employment services by helping individuals obtain and sustain employment that is consistent with their vocational goals and recovery.  

NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:

Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record 
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.

Bachelor's degree in a social services related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience in a social services related field OR High school diploma or GED AND Three years of experience in a social services related position OR One year of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Tech 2 (SST011) or position equivalent.
