Job Description and Requirements:
The Waycross Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is seeking to fill an Assistant Public Defender position. This position will be filled at the APD I, II, III, or IV level, depending on experience. Primary duties will include representation of indigent criminal defendants in the Superior Courts of the Waycross Judicial Circuits. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the position. Experience in all areas of criminal defense is preferred. The chosen applicant will be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia and must have a strong commitment to indigent criminal defense.
