Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits using technology tools, the telephone and the internet to ensure compliance with the facilities policies and procedures. Communicates with the front office in writing and verbally accurately obtain the information needed for verification's, effectively communicate patients financial responsibility (co-pay), deductible expenses etc... based on their insurance coverage. Perform benefit verification's on all new patients and enter benefits data for patients accurately in electronic medical records. 

NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:

Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record 
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.

High school diploma or GED AND Two years of bookkeeping experience in an office environment.
