Provides 1:1 counseling and supervision to staff on a monthly basis. Ensures that quality care is provided to the client. Completes nursing assessments, provides medication education, provides discharge instructions, provides prescribed nursing care, administer medications. Communicate critical information to MD and nurse supervisor in timely manner. Assists with orienting new staff to shift. Attends training, nurse’s meetings and other staff meetings as assigned. Provide supportive counseling and education to client as indicated. Assists with scheduling and maintaining adequate unit coverage.
Adult Crisis Unit - Lawrenceville, Ga.
The Community Residential Treatment Charge Nurse is the shift supervisor in a residential treatment facility for Adult consumers admitted for stabilization of severe mental health or addictive disease crisis or for intensive residential treatment of addictive diseases. The crisis stabilization and residential treatment centers are all stand-along facilities located in the community. They operate 24-hours per day, 7 days per week.

Hours:
Child and Adolescent Unit:
3:00 p.m - 11:30 p.m
Four weekends shifts per month required
Adult Crisis Unit:
2:45 p.m - 11:15 p.m - Mon - Fri.
Variable weekends
Salary:
THE LISTED POSITION(S) QUALIFIES FOR A SALARY SUPPLEMENT and SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.
Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including finger-printing), pass a pre-employment drug screen, have a valid Georgia driver’s license, and a Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with policy.
