Licensed Practical Nurse
The LPN is responsible for taking direction from the charge RN and for reporting all pertinent client information to the charge RN. These duties include medication administration utilizing the 5 rights, MD orders, charting, direct patient care, assessments under the supervision of the charge RN, discharges, and patient education. Duties also include those delegated by the charge RN that may include PPD's, blood draws, collecting urine samples, and documentation.
