Job Description: Under broad supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures. Focuses on the prevention of illness, injury or disability, the promotion of health and maintenance of the health of populations. Cares for population with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and chemical protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
Registered Nurse Level 1
Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. Target hire-in salary $42,750*
Registered Nurse Level 2
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification OR Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND One year PHN experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Nurse license AND CPR certification. Target hire-in salary $47,025*
Registered Nurse Level 3
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND One year of PHN experience and Current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification OR Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two years of RN experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse License AND CPR certification. Target hire-in salary $51,727.50*
*Salary offer will be based on Education, Experience & Health Department Budget
