Assists in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Peer services. Assist in organizing and facilitating peer groups. Complete daily notes on a caseload of approximately 30 individuals in a timely, accurate and concise manner. Provide direct service to individuals and their families in gaining control of the recovery process through modeling of competency, personal responsibility and hope for recovery. Certified in the state of Georgia as a Peer Specialist is required. 

NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:

Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record 
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.

High school diploma or GED AND any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
