Allied Health, Adjunct Instructor-Talent Pool
Under general supervision, provides instruction for credited allied health core courses; demonstrate the use of appropriate teaching techniques; demonstrate the effective use of oral and written communication skills; evaluates student’s progress in attaining goals and objectives; demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures including proper maintenance of grade books and any other record-keeping required; follows approved course syllabus; ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by complying with college health and safety policies, standard practices in maintaining occupational health and safety legislation and regulations; classes may consist of day or evening courses and will vary per semester. Maintains qualifications for employment as described by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and accreditation standards. Follows rules and regulations as described by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and other policies and procedures established by the institution. . MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in health care profession from a regionally accredited institution; 3 years employment experience in field within the past 7 years. AHA first Aid/CPR certification.
