EMT/Paramedic Lab Assistant - Part-Time

Job Duties
Under general supervision, assists faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction as assigned. Ability to tutor or mentor students as needed. Performs laboratory skills and cleans labs as needed. Verbal and written communication skills necessary. Must obtain materials needed for classes, including textbooks and other materials. Ability to work a minimum of three days a week. Ability to learn new software and hardware applications. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Employed on an individual academic term-by-term basis. Maintain qualifications for employment as described by the Technical College System of Georgia Policy Manual and accreditation standards. Follows rules and regulations as described by the Technical College System of Georgia Policy Manual and other policies and procedures established by the institution.
Minimum qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of State approved Advanced EMT or higher course(s) and have obtained National Registry certification Minimum of three to five years’ experience. BLS certification required. Ability to obtain BLS Instructor certification within the first six months.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday - 27 hours per week
